⭐⭐ THE CROCODILE, A THIRD TIME, AND STILL NOTHING JOINS THEM. p. 168 has 'ܢܐܦܘܬ = äg. νεφώθ = gr. κροκόδειλος'; p. 184 has a straight transliteration glossed κορκόδειλος; here is a third word, given bare and then qualified by what reads as the Greek ἔνυδρος, 'water-dwelling'. Three entries, three etymologies, three correct alphabetical slots, one animal — and the glossary's fourth such set after the Passover, the lyre and the two words for the Resurrection.
Read at 3× and the identification is not secure. The head is three glyphs, ܪ + ܘ + a final hook read as ܦ; the qualifier is six or seven and is read ܐܶܢܽܘܕܪܽܘܣ against Greek ἔνυδρος, which fits the sense but is not legible letter by letter. ⚑ The SLOT also argues: the entry sits between ܪܥܶܡ and ܪܩܺܝܥܳܐ, so its sort key should be ܪܦ, while a hollow root ܪܘܦ would sort at ܪܘ. Recorded as read with both doubts named.
