primer_note

⭐ Nestle's own joke, and the finest note on the page: ἑτοιμολογία = ἐτυμολογία — the Syriac renders 'etymology' as though it were 'readiness-ology', from ܛܝܒ 'prepare'. He prints the correction with an equals sign and no comment. ⚑ Split from the ܛܒ chain above it on Nestle's own evidence: he states the derivation 'a ܛܰܝܶܒ', and root ܛܝܒ sorts after ܛܘܒ, which is where the page puts it.

uncertain yes
uncertain_note The two words carrying the Greek pun are not resolved.
