Nestle prints a three-letter Hebrew cognate in parentheses, and it is the whole problem with this entry: ⭐ the cognate he chose contradicts the gloss he wrote.
✅ THE READING IS SETTLED (3× re-read, 2026-09-01) and the doubt has moved off us and onto Nestle. The Hebrew is חרץ — ח, then ר with no ascender, so not ל — which is Aramaic חַרְצָא / Hebrew חֲלָצַיִם, 'LOINS' (Dan. 5:6). ܚܰܨܳܐ is 'back, loins' in the lexica. But Nestle prints 'm. Brust | breast', and the record reproduces him faithfully. ⚠ So this is not an extraction error to fix; it is a probable defect IN THE SOURCE, and the duplicate it forms with ܚܰܕܝܳܐ 'breast' (p. 152) is an artefact of that defect.
