The page opens inside the Life of ELISHA, whose one-word rubric ܐܠܝܫܥ ܂ stands on p. 104
line 12 (= piece line 369). One Life boundary falls here, marked by the usual cue — a one-word
name rubric alone on its own line, closed by a low point:

⭐ AND THAT IS A REAL FINDING, not a slip of the eye. The word was read at ~11x on four clean, unambiguous glyphs — alaph "≺" · yudh (tiny blob) · waw (closed loop with a leg) · beth (flat-topped hook with a leftward foot) — and there is no competing candidate at that shape. JOB IS NOT IN Schermann's Latin capitulum of Sinai Syr. 10 at all, whose 22 run Moyses … Ioel, with Malachias appended. So Nestle's British-Museum recension carries a Life the Sinai witness does not, and the control is silent on the whole of this page's second half. Job does stand in some Greek/Syriac recensions of the Lives, so this is a recension difference to be recorded, not an anomaly to be explained away — but it should be checked by a Syriacist against Schermann's GREEK recensions A-E (pp. 1-104) before it is asserted in print.
Nestle names no individual codex; "e tribus codicibus Musei Britannici" (p. 86) is all he says,
and he never says which of the three. No witness field exists in the schema — known gap.
Verified on this page: no vowel signs on any of the 20 lines; seyame on plurals; dalath/rish points present. Constant with pp. 103, 104, 106, 107 and with p. 86.

The one-word rubrics come out because an isolated short word can be attacked glyph by glyph at
11x; running narrative cannot, at ~5-6 zoom crops per line with silent residual error.

⭐ THE CONTROL'S MOST USEFUL RESULT ON THIS PAGE IS A MISMATCH. The Latin capitulum of Sinai
Syr. 10 lists 22 prophets and JOB IS NOT AMONG THEM. So the rubric read at line 385 either
(a) records a Life present in the BM recension and absent from the Sinai one, or (b) is a
mis-reading. (b) is unlikely — ܐܝܘܒ is four unambiguous glyphs at 11x with no near neighbour
in the Estrangela repertoire — but the two possibilities are named rather than collapsed, and
the resolution is a Syriacist's look at Schermann's GREEK recensions A-E (pp. 1-104, leaves ~75-
178; RE-CALIBRATE the leaf offset from a running head first, the item's _page_numbers.json is
wrong in this volume).
WHAT THE CONTROL DID CONFIRM: X. Elisaeus fuit ex tribu Ruben, eratque discipulus Eliae. —
Elisha, whose Life occupies lines 378-384 of this page, is in the Sinai list.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO: it is a summary list in Latin against continuous Syriac narrative; not one
line of running text on this page has a parallel in it, and it never adjudicates a letter, a
point or a seyame.
UNCERTAIN READINGS ON THIS PAGE:
