· lines 278-295 the rest of the Life of HABAKKUK, begun at p. 99 line 270. It closes at
line 295 with ܀ — the first four-dot diamond in my shard.
· line 296 rubric ܨܦܢܝܐ ܂ — ZEPHANIAH (the second-to-last line of the page)
· line 297 the Life of Zephaniah opens, and runs on to p. 101.
⚠ The line-295 close is a full-measure line ending in ܀, NOT the short-indented-line pattern
of pp. 99 and 102. So the Life-boundary cue is not one signal but two alternatives: EITHER a
short last line + pause, OR a full line closed with ܀. Both are followed by the one-word
rubric. A short line on its own is only a paragraph break.
⛔ No individual codex named.
܀ occurs once, at line 295. Both ܂ and ܆ in use.
Th. Schermann, PROPHETARUM VITAE FABULOSAE, Teubner 1907 — archive.org prophetarumvita00schegoog. Latin version of the Syriac (cod. Sinait. syro 10) at pp. 105-106, leaf = page + 74 (calibrated on two running heads); Index nominum propriorum at printed p. 240. ⛔ The Latin Appendix is a two-page CAPITULUM (a summary list of 22 prophets), not the full Lives — SENSE-level control only, and a thin one. It catches a mis-keyed name or a meaningless sentence; it never adjudicates pointing and cannot be aligned page-for-page. See research/syriac-peshitta-editions.md
280, 285, 290, 295 in the LEFT (outer) margin — p. 100 is a verso — standing against printed lines 3, 8, 13 and 18. The page carries lines 278-297.
Conventions and flag forms exactly as in c098-1.toml: ⟨?ܟܟܟ⟩ = letters read but doubtful;
⟨?…⟩ = one or more words NOT read, nothing asserted about their letters.

NONE. No rule, no small type, no signature at the foot; blank paper below line 297. No square brackets on the page.
keyed from the plate, UNVERIFIED: of ~125 word-slots, roughly 43 keyed as confident, 8 keyed and flagged ⟨?word⟩, the rest inside ⟨?…⟩ gaps. No line wholly unread. No Syriac-reading control exists for this piece.
The Habakkuk narrative on lines 278-295 is the hardest kind of material for this pass — first
person speech, no formulas, several unfamiliar nouns. The two lines that read cleanly (284's
ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܢ ܕܦܘܢܝܐ, 297's tribe formula) are exactly the formulaic ones.
See c098-1.toml [extraction] for method and for why flagged guesses were refused.
⭐ CONFIRMED: line 297, ܨܦܢܝܐ ܡܢ ܫܒܛܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܕܫܡܥܘܢ ܂ against Schermann XX,
'Sophoniasque porro ex eadem tribu erat' — 'the same tribe' being Simeon, carried over from
XIX Habacuc. Third independent tribe agreement in this shard, and the third in a row
(Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah all of Simeon in both witnesses).
⭐ SEQUENCE CONFIRMED: Habakkuk closes (295) then Zephaniah opens (296) = capitulum XIX → XX.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO: the seventeen lines of Habakkuk's Life on this page have no counterpart in the capitulum, which gives him only 'fuit tempore captivitatis, ex tribu Simeon. Isque attulit pulmentum Danielo, fuitque in lacu leonum.' ⚠ I could NOT read enough of lines 278-295 to say whether the Daniel/lions' den episode is present here — the pronoun-heavy first-person passage at 278-283 is consistent with it but that is an impression, not a reading, and it is recorded as an open question, not as a finding.
