Opens mid-verse 36 (continued from p. 83) and breaks off mid-verse 44, which finishes on
p. 85. Lines 74-88; marginal numerals 75, 80, 85.
⚠ TRAP ON THIS PAGE, worth naming: at line 82 the superscript 40 is the VERSE number, and it
sits close enough to the outer margin to read as one of the marginal line numbers. The
marginal line numbers on this page are 75, 80 and 85 and they are set further out. Do not
infer a line-numbering restart from it.

keyed from Nestle; checked against BFBS 1905-1920 at leaf n17 (printed p. 6, which carries Matt 5:33-45; the running-head letter there was not read closely enough to cite, so the page is identified by its printed arabic number and its verse content)
AGREEMENT: verse division 36-44; the consonantal sequence of vv. 38-44 read against n17; seyame absent where Nestle has none.
⚑ v. 37 (lines 76-77).
The BFBS line at n17 appears to carry an additional ܕܝܢ in this clause (ܡܕܡ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ
ܝܬܝܪ). Read as PROBABLE, not certain — the word sits mid-line in a dense setting and was not
re-zoomed. Recorded as a flag: if it holds, it is a second edition-level divergence of the
same kind as the v. 14 transposition.
⭐ v. 44 — THE LONG READING, and both witnesses have it. Nestle prints the full four-limbed
ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܕܒܪܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܒܩܛܝܪܐ ܘܪܕܦܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ), running from line 88 across the page break into
c085-1, and the BFBS text at n17 has the same four limbs in the same order. This is the verse
where the Greek tradition splits hardest, so the agreement of two independent PD Syriac
editions on the long form is the most substantive positive result of the whole diff.
