⚑ DIVERGENCE, v. 29 (line 58): Nestle prints ܚܨܝܗ ܘܫܕܝܗ ܂ ܦܩܚ ܠܟ ܓܝܪ — i.e. no ܡܢܟ
after ܘܫܕܝܗ. The same shape recurs on the next page at v. 30 (ܦܣܘܩ ܫܕܝܗ ܂ — see c083-1),
so it is a consistent feature of Nestle's exemplar, not a single dropped word. The BFBS
reading at this point was NOT verified: the band probed at n16 turned out to carry v. 25, and
v. 29-30 sit in the part of n16 that was not re-zoomed before the pass closed. ⛔ Flagged as
an OPEN comparison, not asserted as a divergence — the observation about Nestle is firm, the
claim about the control is not yet made.
⚑ v. 22 (line 44), ܠܠܐ. Read from the plate as printed. This is the crux word of the verse
(Gk. μωρέ) and it is exactly the kind of short, unpointed, unfamiliar form where a reader
without the language can produce plausible nonsense — recorded here as a NAMED risk on this
record rather than left silent.
